We encourage you to tune in every Saturday morning at 11:00 am Mountain time.

Are our worship watch parties still on?  

We know that with the new Covid guidelines, it is not permissible to continue with our in-person worship watch parties with those outside of your households, so we encourage you to watch with the service with your households and then connect with your people via a video-conferencing tool like zoom or google meet. You can use the “talking it out” discussion guide as a conversational tool. Be creative, stay connected.

You can use the “Talking It Out” discussion guide to grow together in conversation. You may use these either on Saturdays when you gather together for the worship watch party or during the week.

Watching on the CHURCH.ONLINE platform

 

The video keeps pausing or I see a loading icon but no video.

1. Try refreshing your page (tap the circular arrow at the top of your screen).

2. Try a speed test! Visit https://www.speedtest.net/ and tap GO! Speeds under 10 MBPS will likely cause choppy video. If that’s the case, try moving closer to your router at home or call your internet service provider for help!

3. If your speed is above 10 MBPS and video is still inconsistent, try downloading google chrome. Google chrome has been tested to be the best browser for watching church online!

 

I see video but don’t hear any sound.

1. Tap on the button on the bottom of the video that says “tap to unmute”.

2. If you still don’t hear audio, check to make sure speakers are on and that your volume is up on your device.

3. Check to make sure the volume is up on the video itself. The sound settings are located in the bottom bar of the video player.

4. If you’re still having trouble, unplug any external audio device (headphones, speakers, etc.) and test using your built in speakers.

 

The live service started already but I only see a looping video intro.

Watching on other platforms

 

I have a Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV Stick, or Chrome Cast. How do I watch the service there?

1. Navigate to the App Store on your device and download the YouTube app. 

2. Search for Newday Adventist Church and click on the latest video. The service becomes available at 10:55 am on Saturdays!

 

Helpful hint: a lot of people like to have the chat open on their phone or laptop while watching the service on TV so as to participate in the chat. To do so go to newdaysda.online.church on your phone, tablet, or computer.

Is the service available on YouTube?

Yes! Just go to our channel Newday Adventist Church.

How do I find the service on Facebook?

Go to Facebook.com/NewdayAdventist to go to our Facebook page!

I’m watching on YouTube or Facebook but I don’t see live video.

The stream will go live 5 minutes before service starts. If you see a countdown, hang tight, the service is about to start! If you don’t see a countdown, try refreshing your page.

I can’t see messages in the chat like everyone else can!

While there may be some conversation happening in the chat section on YouTube or Facebook, the majority of interaction is happening on our church.online platform. Go to newdaysda.online.church to jump into the conversation!

 

Catching up on missed services

 

I missed a service. Can I see it after the fact?

Absolutely! We archive our services to watch anytime on our YouTube channel, Facebook Page, and on our website at newdaysda.com.

 

When are message replays posted?

Usually the Saturday morning message is available online on our Facebook page by Tuesday morning.

Problems with chatting

 

I don’t see the chat! What is that?

1. First make sure you’re watching on our church.online platform! Head to newdaysda.online.church if you’re not there already. Most of the conversation happens there!

2. Check to see if your video is fullscreen. If it’s fullscreen, you won’t see the chat features.

3. Make sure you’re using google chrome. It’s the most reliable browser for watching church online! Get it here.

4. If you’re still not seeing the chat, try refreshing your page.

Problems with the live prayer feature

 

What is live prayer?

When you click the "live prayer" button a private chat window will open on your screen with an online host. They will chat back and forth and are there to pray for you!

I don't see the live prayer feature.

Make sure you’re watching on our church.online platform--this feature is only available there. Head to newdaysda.online.church if you’re not there already. The button is on the lower right corner of the video player.

 

I clicked live prayer and no one’s answering.

1. Hang tight, it occasionally takes a minute or two for a host to join the chat. While you wait, be sure to keep the chat window open.

2. If it’s been longer than a few minutes, try refreshing your page.
