KIDSMIN
At KIDSMIN, you will find a safe space for your birth to 5th grader. We offer a nursery option for birth to 4 years of age during our worship experience, allowing for you to relax, listen, and engage. During our Morning Happenings (10a), we have Miniventure for birth to 3 years of age - an experience where kids AND parent(s) get to play, sing, and listen to a Bible story. We also have Kidventure during our Morning Happenings, which is for kids ages 4 through 5th grade. At Kidventure, we meet in a large group and worship together - singing, story telling, and more. Then we break into small groups (age specific) and dive deeper into the Bible story for that week. Our safe check-in and check-out system allows for parent(s) to feel secure in leaving their kids for our KIDSMIN morning time (10a every Saturday morning).
We recognize the need to allow space for our kids to dive deeper into the Bible story, and into their friendships, in age appropriate ways. With this in mind, we provide a Large Group/Small Group format for Kidventure. Kids will connect all together (4 years - 5th grade) in large group — we will worship, introduce the Bible story and play games for about 30 minutes. Then, kids will move to their small group classroom with two adults for the remainder of the time. In small group, kids will dive deeper into the Bible story, grow deeper in their friendships with one another, and solidify their learning with age appropriate activities. This format allows even our youngest kids at Newday to grow in their relationship with God using the same environments as our adults: connect and grow.
